Manly and the surrounding suburbs are spoilt for choice when it comes to finding a good coffee! Over the last few years several new coffee shops and roasters have popped up. If you are a coffee addict like us, you will constantly be in search of the perfect coffee. Our top picks for coffee satisfaction are listed below!
Barefoot Coffee Traders – this cute little café sticks with what it knows best – coffee and waffles! They brew small batch coffee, and do not offer large coffee’s or decafs. But once you taste their coffee you can see why, perfecting a smaller number of options means better quality and taste! The aromas of the waffles will get you as soon as you walk in the front door, and once you have tried one of these there will be no turning back. Barefoot uses both Toby’s Estate and Single O blends.
Showbox Coffee Brewers – this local favourite for many sets itself aside from other local cafes with its industrial and urban décor. The coffee blends are everchanging and include Mecca, Seven Seeds and Reuben Hills for filtered coffee. The menu is delicious and offers some different options to other local cafes, our current favourite being the El Rancho Beef open faced sandwich!
Roseberry St Café – Located on Roseberry St in Balgowlah, this local gem brew their own coffee branded ‘Roseberry St Roasters. With a wide variety of coffee choices including cold drip, batch brew and espresso you won’t be disappointed, they also serve a mean hot chocolate and mocha! The menu is wholesome and nourishing, and their sweet treats come gluten free if you fancy. The décor is eclectic and retro, with more of an urban than a beach vibe.
Market Lane Café – this café serves one of my favourite blends, All Press a NZ blend which is hard to find in Sydney. A great café to sit outdoors in the morning sun and sip your coffee, and devour one of their delicious sweet treats.
