In recent years Manly is abundant with new wholefood cafes and restaurants. This makes it so easy for our health-conscious locals to eat real food that is also delicious. Our favourite wholefood cafes are in no particular order;
Ora – is a homely space without any pretentiousness. Gluten-free, sugar-free, dairy-free and vegan appetites are all catered for at Ora. The menu is limited, but well planned with all ingredients carefully sourced. Everything is made in-house (except milk and sourdough) without wastage. If you’re after a peaceful, and thought-provoking environment you will love Ora! Our favourites are the Bircher Muesli and the Tacos!
Ruby Lane – situated on Pittwater Rd, this wholefood cafe serves almost every superfood you could imagine. The menu is diverse, and recently they have also opened up their doors for dinner. They even have an organic grocery shop in the rear of the cafe. The food served is seasonal and sustainable and all produce has been carefully selected. Their kids’ menu is without a doubt the healthiest kids menu we have seen in Sydney. Favourite of ours include the ‘Golden’ latte and the Real Food pancakes
Bare Naked Bowls – If you’re looking for the best Acai bowls or smoothies than this place is for you! With so many different bowl options, it really is difficult to make a choice. The raw desserts and kombucha are also amazing. After a meal here you will feel full, but energised! Started by husband and wife team Josh and Ashley Porteous, this cafe is really making its mark on Manly.
